To me it's mostly that it's true to size, but also everything else is spot on. Its the only 34mm re-release I've encountered. Also love the California dial on this version

Got this fun Zodiac Dr. Pepper dial for a steal recently and wonder whether I need to service it. The seller didn't know whether it was recently serviced but the movement looks and runs great. Is the best rule of thumb to just service a vintage watch? Any advice?

Is it just me or were Timex digitals especially the Ironman way cooler than casios back in the 80s/90s? They were in my town at least. I still think they were just better, functionally/ergonomically, better build quality. If I post this on r/Casio I'm sure I'd be downvoted into oblivion.
